Satan’s objective was to split the Godhead. Satan tried to prove that he could be apart from God and still be “god.” Then, if Satan could just get Jesus to act apart from the Father and rely upon Himself in any way, shape, or form, then Satan would have accomplished his “divide and conquer” turn-to-self strategy and prove that he was right—he could act apart from God and still be a “god.”
This explains why Satan tried to tempt Jesus in the wilderness to “take the short-cut” and turn to His own power and resources by turning away from the Father’s will and timing and to act independently of God to accomplish what He [Jesus] came to accomplish. Not only did Satan fail at his attempt to get Jesus to turn to Self for answers and vindication; the very death and resurrection of Jesus Christ made the way for an entire company of brothers and sisters born into Christ to displace and replace Satan. These who would love Jesus wholeheartedly and die-to-self [Galatians 2:20] would enter into covenanted relationship with Christ, overcome Satan, and be joined to the Godhead in complete bridal unity. Because of our forerunner Jesus, the bride is invited into a relationship of eternal union with God as Jesus’ completed bride.” [Revelation 12:11, Ephesians 1:22]
The place of intimacy once held by the archangel Lucifer before he fell from his created place in God sharing the intimate name of “Morningstar” with the pre-incarnate Christ (Job 38:7), has now by God’s grace been given to she who would become Jesus’ pure and spotless bride. Believing Christians are called to overcome Satan by developing complete trust and reliance upon their Bridegroom Jesus and as a result, become the Bride that serves as Ha Satan’s eternal displacement and replacement. Only the overcoming bride receives the “Morningstar” name’s reward described in Revelation 2:28.
Now, not only can the Godhead ever be divided, neither will the bride be separated from her beloved husband–Jesus. The Godhead now shares intimate union as Jesus and His Bride are a part of the whole. When the culmination of the ages and all of time have been reached and the marriage of the Lamb occurs, the Godhead will eternally “house” a pure and spotless bride that cannot nor wills not to ever act separately from Whom she loves. The joy of eternal dependence on God has been consummated once and for all and Father has his family back—forever. Praise the Lord! Jesus is worthy of our all. The Father is good and greatly to be praised.

1 Peter 2:22-24, [Jesus] WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH; and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously; and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.…
Philippians 2:5-8, [Jesus] who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will
